GREG JOHNSON

The Album
Here Comes The Caviar
The Track "Save Yourself"
The Label independent
Liner Notes An established pop/rock hit in his native New Zealand, Auckland-born singer-songwriter Greg Johnson is now making some serious inroads here in the states with his melodic and catchy "Save Yourself" from
Here Comes The Caviar. Johnson, who moved to the West Coast two years ago, teamed up with producer Clark Stiles (Dandy Warhols) in Los Angeles to produce
Caviar, Johnson's first album release here and around his sixth down under. The record features the focus track "Save Yourself," which initially caught the ear of WXPN Philadelphia's Bruce Warren. The sleeper cell-of-a-song continues to pick up steam throughout the format, with some substantial Hot AC crossover. "Save Yourself" is being championed in Boston by both Triple A stations, WBOS and WXRV (The River), as well as XM's Cafe and The Loft.
The Musicians Singer, pianist and trumpeter Johnson is joined by guitarist Ted Brown, Sid Jordan (Minibar) on bass guitar and Malcolm Cross (Minibar/Wallflowers) on drums.

Quote "'Save Yourself' is one of those tracks that is a down-the-middle Triple A smash. We've been playing it since October 2004, and it was an immediate reaction record for us, in a very positive way. It just sounds very natural on the radio....almost like when David
