WXPN PHILADELPHIA NAMES ARTIST LINEUP FOR XPONENTIAL MUSIC FEST JULY 10-13: BLIND BOYS OF ALABAMA, BETH ORTON, AMOS LEE, NICOLE ATKINS, ALEJANDRO ESCOVEDO AND MORE WXPN Philadelphia has named the actist lineup for the annual XPoNential Music Festival July 10-13 in Camden, NJ, presented by Suburu. Over 40 artists are set to perform over four days on three stages, including the Blind Boys of Alabama, Nicole Atkins, Back Door Slam, Dean & Britta, Alejandro Escovedo, John Gorka, Jim Lauderdale, Amos Lee, Shelby Lynne, Matt Nathanson, Beth Orton, Chuck Prophet, Susan Werner, and Dar Williams, among others. The event is now in its fourth year at Camden's Wiggins Park. Over 18,000 attended last year. WXPN will again offer a variety of family activities. Wiggins Park was chosen for its spectacular waterfront views, natural amphitheatre for great sound, easy access to public transportation, open green spaces, and local attractions, such as Adventure Aquarium and the Camden Children's Garden, which serves as the XPN Kid's Corner venue. The Blind Boys of Alabama play a special free concert on opening night July 10 for WXPN members and Camden County residents.
WTMD BALTIMORE PARTNERS WITH BALTIMORE SUN WTMD Towson-Baltimore has partnered with the Baltimore Sun in a new venture. The paper has launched a new free daily newspaper called b. The new publication covers daily topical events and culture and features WTMD prominently in the music section. WTMD midday host Melissa Goode will step down from her airshift to concentrate on her new job as Editorial Coordinator for WTMD's b content. WTMD is celebrating their five year anniversay as a Triple A station.
KFOG PRESENTS ANNUAL "KA-BOOM" FIREWORKS CONCERT MAY 10 WITH LOS LOBOS, COLLECTIVE SOUL, MATT NATHANSON KFOG San Francisco presents the annual KFOG "Ka-Boom" fireworks display and concert Saturday, May 10th with Los Lobos, Colective Soul, and Matt Nathanson. The concert is set for Pier 30/32 on the San Francisco waterfront. Gates open at 4pm. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the show.

WDST WOODSTOCK PRESENTS 4TH ANNUAL MOUNTAIN JAM FESTIVAL MAY 30-JUNE 1 WITH WARREN HAYNES, GOV'T MULE, LEVON HELM, SHARON JONES AND THE DAP KINGS AND MORE WDST Woodstock/Poughkeepsie and guitarist Warren Haynes again get together to present the 4th Annual Mountain Jam Music Festival at New York's Hunter Mountain Friday, May 30-Sunday, June 1. Again, Gov't Mule is scheduled to play a pair of double-set shows. The Mountain Jam will also feature a rare festival appearance by Levon Helm, performing songs off his latest Dirt Farmer album as well as mixing in classic tunes by the The Band. Other performers during the festival include Michael Franti and Spearhead, Citizen Cope, Drive By Truckers, Dark Star Orchestra, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Galactic, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, JJ Grey & Mofro, and Jackie Greene, among others.
